Pin Loom (Weavette)

These have a number of different names and come in many sizes. The weaving is quite different as you used one thread not separate warp and weft threads. I find it works well for small projects. This is an example a bought one. These were very popular some time ago and there are lots of vintage patterns around.

I like to make my own custom sized ones using polystyrene and long sewing pins.

This is an example of a use for a small pin loom square - a corsage

and a rectangular one that I used to make a key case with. 3 rounds of Shetland yarn and one of fancy yarn.
